Artist's RightsI, the artist, will retain all copyright to the work(s) created and I may use commissioned work to self-advertise. I will give credit where credit is due. (i.e. commissioned work portrays the client's character.)
I will not sell prints or copies of commissioned work with out prior permission from the client. I am allowed to post WIP's as well as the final product of a commission on this site as well as online galleries such as deviantART. If the client would like the commission to be kept private they must discuss this prior with me. I am allowed to deny a client and if they are disrespectful to me or do not follow my terms of service. |
Client's RightsThe client is not allowed to profit off any work created by me with my written permission. If the client plans on using a commission for profit they must discuss this prior with me. (Royalties may apply.)
The client may post their commission on their social media sites as long as credit is given and the photo is within specific dimensions. (Highest dimension may be no larger than 1000 px.) The client may have prints be created of their commission for personal use only. |
Payment Methods
I currently only accept payment through Paypal and deviantART's point system. Payment is due upfront so once you have claimed a commission slot I must receive payment within twenty four (24) hours.
I DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS UNLESS I MUST CANCEL A COMMISSION AND/OR HAVE NOT ALREADY STARTED WORKING ON THE IT!

When paying with Paypal...

Additional fees will be added to the final price of the commission. US residents with have a fee of 2.9% + $0.30. International residents with have a fee of 3.9% + $0.30. |
When paying with deviantART points...
I use deviantART's Commission Widget to receive point payments. Payment using deviantART points is more expensive due to deviantART's fees.
100 points = $1.00 USD deviantART's fee to withdraw money to Paypal (waved if I am a deviantART premium member at the time) = $1.00 USD |
Extra Fees and Discounts
Extra fees apply if...
Your character has a complicated design i.e. wings, mutant anatomy, many colors and accessories, etc.
Fee = + $5.00 - $10.00 USD You do not have a visual reference of your character. (Exception example: "Brown lab with a red collar.") I will work off a description but please be as specific as possible. Fee = + $10.00 USD If you'd like a time-lapse video of you commission. This will be posted on my YouTube channel. Price varies depending on how much time I spent on the commission. This fee can be paid after the commission is finished. Fee = + $1.00 USD for every hour I spent working on the commission. |
Discounts apply if...
You have commissioned at least three times in the past. Loyal customers will receive a 10% discount off their fourth commission's final price. You will have to commission me another three times for the discount to apply again.
(More discount opportunity will be available in the future!) |
The Process
After the client has claimed a commission slot and payment is received I will start an approval sketch that will be sent to the client. Here the client may request large changes to be done.
Once the client approves the sketch I will continue to work on the drawing. The client may ask for WIP's at anytime.
Once the drawing is complete and the client is satisfied I will send them a .zip folder containing the following; the original drawing, a resized and watermarked version, and a note from me.
Turn around time for a drawing is usually no more than two weeks to a month. If a commission is taking longer than expected I will notify the client.
